How to get Large Wyvern Gems in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Large Wyvern Gems have a similar drop and reward rate to Mantle materials: around 1% to 5% in most cases. The difference, as mentioned, is they come from multiple sources rather than a single monster.

Here are all the monsters and their chances to award Large Wyvern Gems.

How to Farm Large Wyvern Gems

Your best bet for farming Large Wyvern Gems is to capture the source monster in almost every case. The only monsters that don’t reward the material as a Capture Reward are Basarios, Diablos, and Nargacuga. All the others offer some chance at a Gem when captured.

As with any hunt, you’ll want to break as many parts as possible, especially the Tail. Do your best not to faint more than once to maximize your quest rewards, and hope for a little luck.

You’ll need more than a bit of luck to get your hands on other materials in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, including Nargacuga Mantle and other Mantle materials. Pure Dragon Blood isn’t the easiest material to come by either, but we have a guide on it, Awegite, Prized Pelt, and even the Monksnail. Check our Rise guides hub for even more.
