Sadly, there isn’t a good early-game way to get your hands on a load of Kamura Tickets, and the farm will likely take you several dozen hours to reach unless you’re already familiar with Monster Hunter Rise from the Switch release. In any event, this Monster Hunter Rise guide tells you how to farm Kamura Tickets.
Where to Get Kamura Tickets in Monster Hunter Rise
Long before you’ll be able to take a quest with a guaranteed Kamura Ticket, you’ll be getting them from Fugen the Elder at random.
The catch is, he’ll only give out Kamura Tickets for completing Village Quests and Rampage Quests, which reward almost exclusively Low-Rank monster materials.
This works fine if you need the Low Rank materials for the earlier weapons in the tree, but if all you’re wanting are High-Rank mats, you’re out of luck. It’s also good for practicing some of the tougher monsters, though remember their High-Rank variants have additional moves and significantly more HP.
How to Farm Kamura Tickets in Monster Hunter Rise
Beware: the actual Kamura Ticket farm has spoilers for the Monster Hunter Rise endgame.
The event quest Gales of Ibushi Blow Again, a seven-star quest available to Hunter Rank 8 and higher Hunters only, guarantees a drop for Kamura Tickets.
You’ll need to take on Wind Serpent Ibushi again and again. It’s great if you like the fight; I’m sorry I don’t have better news if you aren’t a fan.
