In McCurdy’s new diary, the performer claims she was “exploited” and “encouraged to drink alcohol by a startling figure.”

Cosgrove addressed the cases in a gathering with The New York Times.
“Right when you’re young, you’re so in your own head,” the performer said of her own knowledge on “iCarly”, which showed up in 2007. “You can’t imagine that people around you are having much harder fights.”
Cosgrove perceived that McCurdy hid the disturbing off-camera episode with her comedic capacities.
“You don’t expect things like that from the person in the room who’s making everyone snicker,” she said.
