The performer and TV producer walked privileged pathway at the presentation of season three of her series Never Have I Ever, held at the Westwood Village Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, and she opened up to ET’s Denny Directo about how Novak is as a godparent.

“He’s wonderful with kids!” Kaling shared. “He from a genuine perspective made a top of the line book called The Book With No Pictures for young people.”

“It easily falls into place for him, you know, for example, being with kids,” she added. “So he’s a phenomenal watchman.”

Kaling, 43, actually conversed with Marie Claire and watched out for speculation that her past darling and long haul best friend is the father of her two children.

“It doesn’t pester me,” said Kaling – – who is the mother to 4-year-old young lady Katherine and 1-year-old kid, Spencer. “He’s the godparent to both my kids – – and they have such an unprecedented relationship.”

Kaling added that the reports, up until this point, haven’t “affected my fulfillment in any way shape or form, it hasn’t influenced my kids or B.J… . Expecting that is what will be invigorating to people, I’ll take it.”

Chatting with ET on Thursday, Kaling moreover dished on Never Have I Ever, which she made as a semi-individual changing dramedy about an energetic Indian-American young woman in the San Fernando Valley investigating the hardships of growing up and creating.

“It’s uncommonly bringing down,” Kaling told ET of the show’s endorsement and being a fan. “I’ve expressed, like, this is my most conspicuous master achievement. It feels up close and personal, almost you know?”
